Note: All toothed blades will cut steel, brass, copper, plastic and wood. Blade selection is based on material hardness, cutting speed and finish. Use coarse-toothed 14 tpi (teeth per inch) blades for fast, aggressive cutting of thick or soft materials. Use fine-toothed 24 tpi blades for smooth cuts in thin or hard materials. .138 inch wide blades will cut curves down to 3/8 inch radius; .180 inch wide blades down to 3/4 inch radius; .250 inch wide blades down to 1 inch radius. Wide blades are best for straight cuts.
