Mandrel Set Makes Perfect Coils, Springs and Jump Rings

Anyone who has tried to make a miniature coil of wire will tell you it is not as simple as winding it around a rod chucked in an electric drill. The wire must be properly anchored and the speed must be carefully controlled for the wire to coil correctly. Our beautifully machined and plated coil mandrels include holes that anchor the wire to give you a perfect winding every time. The 1/4 inch hex shank fits most slow-speed drills and drivers. Set of eight mandrels includes 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm diameters (.039, .079, .098, .118, .157, .197, .236 and .315 inch). Mandrels are 4 inches long overall; accommodate wire up to 1/16th inch diameter.
