ER Collet Set for Milling Machines and Lathes

ER collets have a wide gripping range (about .040 inch) and provide a fast, easy and accurate way of holding end mills, fly cutters, saw mandrels and drill bits in milling machine spindles. When used in a lathe, they hold stock more accurately and have a better grip than chucks, and thin-wall tubes can be gripped without distortion. They're quick to set up and can be used at high speed. Our ER16 collet set includes a precision ground shank and 'snap-in' collets with compression nut and spanner for easy tightening. The wood case makes selection easy and offers good protection during storage. MT2 shank. (Check tool holder capacity and shank size before ordering.)
