Kurtis Midget Model Car Kit, 1/25 Scale
Midget racing was born in the mid-thirties, but didn't reach its peak in popularity until the post-WWII era. Frank Kurtis built midgets before the war, but they were rail frame cars, very much different than the Kurtis midget of today.
Starting in January 1945, Kurtis realized the design for his famous midget utilizing the latest materials, technology, and design available at the time. This version of the Kurtis Midget features a stylishly beautiful full envelope body that many enthusiasts to this day consider to be the epitome of the race car aesthetic.
