Big job or small, our Portable Band Saw eliminates the hard work and fatigue of hack-sawing by hand. It's lightweight (just 15 lbs), rugged (cast aluminum frame), and durable (ball-bearing gear and chain drive), with a guide bar and twin grip-contoured handles that give you maximum control over the cutting action. The 120v AC two-speed motor develops up to 1 hp, and drives the blade at either 190 fpm or 256 fpm for wood or metal cutting. Universal 14 tpi bi-metal blade (included) cuts right through rod, tubing, pipe, rail, bar stock or structural shapes made of metal, wood or plastic up to 4-1/2 inches square. Includes a steel base with spring-loaded pivot arm and quick-action vise that converts your portable band saw to a benchtop horizontal band saw.
