A precision laser cut kit of the water tank at Baker on the Boreas Pass Line. The tank was originally located at the west end of Alpine Tunnel and, when operations through the tunnel ceased, the tank was moved to the Boreas Pass line.
Kit includes templates for building the support structure and the spout mechanism. The kit tank consists of a one piece wood wrapper and center core, white metal hardware, peel and stick tank bands, strip wood for the supports, and laser cut frost box and 'X' bracing. True to the prototype, the kit even has notches cut into the cross beams for the tank timbers and legs. Made in USA by Banta Modelworks, no. BMW-128-HO.
