Operating Instructions for #15215 Miter-Rite
Pin "A", when inserted, locks the saw at 90 degrees. Loosen thumb nuts to remove pin. An extra hole is provided to hold this pin when not in use. An extra pin is provided with your Miter-Rite; it is not a replaceable part.

Do not over-tighten thumb nuts. Very little pressure is required to hold saw guide in position.

The cutting board is packed separately and is held in place with double-sided tape. Peel off paper backing to expose adhesive and place cutting board on Miter-Rite table. If cutting board needs to be replaced in time, a 1/8" thick X 2" wide piece of basswood makes a good substitute for the masonite cutting board included with your Miter-Rite. Rubber cement can also be used as a substitute for double-sided tape.

Your dealer can supply replacement Miter-Rite brand saw blades. X-Acto brand saw blades no. 039 or 239 can also be used, but, depending on the date of manufacture, some modification may be required. See illustrations for details.

Apply two rubber pads to bottom of Miter-Rite table as shown. Two extra pads are included should one or both be knocked off.

The specially designed handle is made so that, when fully inserted, it will stay up and out of the way when positioning stock for cutting.

Adjust tension screws "X" and "Y" so they just barely touch saw blade to create the slightest drag. If the handle is fully inserted and the blade tips down in back, more tension is required on screw "Y".
