The package includes four steel tubes: 2 with small ends and 2 plain tubes. Assemble a plain tube onto each small ended tube. If necessary, lightly tap tubes together until they are fully seated and straight.

Attach the cast iron base to your workbench with the three screws provided. A location near a front corner has generally been found to be convenient.

Insert one tube vertically into the base and secure with a thumb screw.

Assemble the cast iron cross onto the vertical tube about 1/3 down from the top and secure in place with a thumb screw.

Install a black rubber cap on the top end of the vertical tube.

Install the other tube in a horizontal position through the remaining hole in the cross casting and secure with a thumb screw.

Install a black cap on the end of the tube that will face away from you.

Install the large orange cap on the end of the tube that overhangs the aisle next to your chair. This large cap protects you from injury.

Install the 2 binder clamps over the horizontal tube.

Use the binder clamps to secure your drawing to the horizontal tube.

Loosen the thumb screws to relocate the tubes as required to position your drawing in the most convenient location for viewing.
