She was the largest passenger liner of her day, and the sinking of the Titanic on April 15, 1912, resulted in the loss of over 1500 passengers and crew. Many of the maritime safety procedures and precautions followed today are the result of lessons learned from this tragic event.
This museum-quality kit of the RMS Centennial Titanic contains over 400 separate parts molded in 1/350 scale . . . recognized as the most popular scale for plastic model ships.
