Description

The 'Tuskegee Airmen' squadron was the first African-American USAAF unit in WWII. They formed the 332nd Fighter Group deployed to the Mediterranean to escort bombers to Southern Germany and Eastern Europe. B-17 crews gave them the name 'Red Tail Angels' because of the unique tail painting of their unit and the protection they provided.

Highly detailed 'Red Tail Angels' Mustang kit includes cockpit and instrument panel, 3 marking options, canopy masks, pilot figure, and decals.
