Solid Table, but a Possible Flaw?

by GG -

Purchased this stand to mount a micro mill machine on. Assembly was pretty smooth using 1/2" wrenches. Sits pretty solid when assembled. My only concern is how to effectively attach the top board (comes with a laminated top like the slide drawer underneath). There are six front screws and six rear screws (in each corner and two center front/back). Not sure one is to screw the front center screw in its hole with the slide drawer already attached. But, if you install the top first and then the slide drawer, how do you screw in the two back stops in the rear corners of the slide drawer that prevents it from sliding all the way out? I will probably be replacing the laminated top with another board in order to secure the mill machine to, so I can get by. Otherwise, I think you can only use 5 screws to install the laminated top if you have the sliding shelf. Good solid stand, other than that!
