Quickly and Accurately Produces Scale Lumber

by BRYAN -

I was surprised by this little tool. I couldn't get the blade to stand up straight; there is no positive guide to hold it, so I put it in at about a 30 degree angle and torqued the screws down pretty tight. I was afraid it might break, but it didn't. With the blade in, I set the width-of-cut. The finely threaded adjustment screw makes it easy and quite accurate. I cut several strips, but the blade was not flush with the cutting board.. I could peel off the strips and they were fine, but by cutting the top and flipping over and cutting the back, I got remarkably clean strips. Even with the extra work, I cut 20-25 scale 2x4's in about a minute.
