Daron® Executive Series CV-8 USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier - 1/350th Scale
One of seven ships to bear the moniker "Hornet", this Yorktown-class US Naval aircraft carrier took part in several famous battles, including the Battle of Midway and the Doolittle Raid. Sunken by the Japanese in the Battle of the South Pacific in October 1942, the wreckage was just recently found in January 2019, off the coast of the Solomon Islands, near New Guinea.
Daron's high quality replica is handcrafted from mahogany with various metal and diecast pieces; including the B-25 bombers and a wooden display stand. Length is 28 1/8" and beam is 4".
