Micro-Mark’s PLA is a unique filament that can be used in any 3D printer on the market that uses a 1.75mm diameter filament!
Each spool is 1.65 pounds (750 grams). Micro-Mark’s lab is a testing ground for numerous 3D printers and filament varieties and Micro-Mark sells only the best printers and filaments after thorough testing. Micro-Mark PLA filament was developed after testing numerous filament types on the market today. We then designed the best features of what is available in the market.
Features of Micro-Mark’s PLA filament are:
- Quality of the finished product including resolution
- Ease in processing/Sticks to the bed
- Used with a wide diversity of 3D printers
- Low price
- Safe/No environmental impact
Micro-Mark PLA Filament comes in 8 colors including Black, White, Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, and Clear. Micro-Mark PLA also comes in Fair Skin tone for making scale figures (#87495). Also available in an 8 pack (#87856) and 4 pack variations (#87854 and #87855).
Micro-Mark PLA filament is made with natural ingredients including tapioca products and is safe to use around children and is safe for the environment. We have designed it to pass through the extruder without getting caught and to extrude evenly.
The recommended extrusion temperature is 195 to 230 degrees celsius so there is no need for a heated bed, although Micro-Mark PLA filament will work on a heated bed as well. We have found that Micro-Mark PLA filament delivers consistency across prints, brings out details of the features of the print, and delivers a cleaner surface finish.
The filament is great for plastic modeling, model train layouts, making figures, jewelry, and many other applications and hobbies.
