A Very Versitile Tool

by Kyle

I originally bought this sander a few years back for polishing the inside of some little aluminum trays for an art piece. I do a fair amount of machining and I've just discovered how well this sander also works for deburring parts. The reciprocating action won't grab and run off on you like a rotary tool will if you're not careful. It gets into tight corners well too.

Keeps me at the workbench!

by GBO -

Sanding manually takes forever! I bought this because the various tips intrigued me. I’m a model car builder. The first project I used this on was a very unfinished piece of resin. Doing it by hand was taking forever!
Remembering that I got this, I took it out and made short order of the clean up! Finished product looked awesome.
Used it again on another project. Whipped it in no time.
I tend to walk away if things take too long to complete. This little tool, which is well made, has given me incentive to be working on 3 projects!
Highly recommend this.

Very Pleased

by John T. -

I was a little hesitant about buying this as I once bought something very similar some 10 years ago and was not favorably impressed. This version, however, is very good and a delight to use. It isn't suitable for doing large sanding jobs (unless you want to take a LONG time), but it is great for sanding small pieces and makes tapering small spars and the like super easy.

Great little helper.

by DAVID

This sander is a time saver. It works very well, maybe a little too well. On plastic, I have had it begin to melt the plastic, so you have to keep it moving and not let it stay in one place for very long.
