Meet Lok Otto Wong the 2024 Modeler of the Year

Since 1979, The Japanese military science fiction media franchise Gundam has grown in popularity so much that the last five years has seen mecha continue to flourish in both Asia and across the world. It was only fitting that we choose the genre for our fifth annual modeling skills competition. Having reviewed an amazing number of quality submissions, we are proud to announce Lok Otto Wong of Hong Kong as our annual Micro-Mark Model Challenge winner! Lok's kit bashed HG Assault Zaku II was expertly crafted from components of at least three different kits he extensively modified and 3D pieces he printed himself. Finally, Lok expertly painted, decaled and clear coated his creation. The results are impressive.

We were also very impressed with the submissions of Bruce McKinney of Tigard, OR and Elliot Gray of Seattle, WA, and chose their builds as runner-up winners. Congratulations to all the contestants.
