The German Panther G Medium Tank was designed as an intended counter to the Soviet T-34, and as a replacement for the Panzer III and Panzer IV. However, it served alongside the Panzer IV and the heavier Tiger I, until the end of WWII. The Panther G was considered one of the best tanks of the era War II for its excellent firepower, protection and maneuverability.
