Like other calipers, our 6" capacity digital caliper displays inside and outside inch and mm measurements in large, easy-to-read LCD numerals with a resolution of .0005" / .01 mm and accurate to +/- .001". What makes this caliper unique is absolute origin technology, which memorizes zero by displaying the actual sensor position, making resetting to zero obsolete. Combined with data capturing capability from its built-in data port,* this caliper is one of the most sophisticated measuring instruments of its kind. Includes hardened stainless steel ruler beam, moisture-resistant housing, two 3V lithium batteries, and fitted foam-lined polymer case. ISO 9001 certified. Meets DIN Standard 862.
