The Knight of Gold is the insignia Mortar Headd of A.K.D., ridden by the Emperor Amaterasu, the god of light and the protagonist of Five Star Stories. The type D MIRAGE is equipped with the Buster Launcher, the version Ladios Sop (Amaterasu) used to rescue Lachesis from the Fatima’s unveiling on Adler's planet in 2988. It has gained much attention from Five Star Stories fans and mecha enthusiasts worldwide ever since Volks released the IMS KOG kit series.
