3 inch diameter, 1/2 inch hole, high speed steel hollow ground* slitting saw blade. For slitting and slotting thin wood and plywood; cross cutting brass tubing and soft brass sheet under 1/16 inch thick; cross cutting delicate wood and plastic structural shapes. Fits MicroLux Table Saw and Heavy-Duty Miter/Chop Saw when used with #83515 Blade Adapter (sold separately).

*Hollow ground blades are tapered in thickness from the outside cutting edge of the blade to the center hole, allowing the middle of the blade to pass through the material being sawn without contacting the material. This prevents friction and heat buildup on the material being cut and eliminates the burn marks created by ordinary blades which are not hollow ground.
