Our digital caliper quickly displays your measurements in easy-to-see LCD numerals. It measures insides, outsides, depths and steps up to 6 inches in fractions, thousandths, and millimeters with a resolution of .0005 inch or .01mm. A 'Zero' button lets you take '2-step' measurements without calculations; another button instantly converts inches to millimeters and back again. Reads directly in fractional inches (resolution in fraction mode is 1/64 inch). Made of hardened stainless steel for long life. Includes battery, instructions and case. A pleasure to use

So easy to take a measurement, then read in decimal inches, fractional inches or millimeters. And when a measurement is given in one of the modes, it is easy to set it on the caliper and convert to another unit without a calculator. I purchased a second one for the shop.
