Tichy Train Group Visible Gas Pumps HO Scale (Set of 2)

The visible gas pump, which was used from the 1900s to the 1940s, worked by pumping gas into the glass cylinder on top and then allowing it to flow into the car. Injection molded in styrene and acrylic, this kit builds 2 complete pumps. Each pump kit includes the nozzle, hose, pump body, clear tank and milk glass top, along with 7 different logos. All parts are cored so the pumps may be lit by inserting a 1/16 inch diameter bulb or LED into the milk glass, with wires running down through the base. Fiber optic strands can also be used.
